Recipe Teriyaki noodles with shrimp balls

Ingredients (for 2 persons):

  • 300g shrimp
  • 150g peas
  • 250g Udon noodles
  • 3 spring onions
  • 2 sprigs of coriander
  • 1-2 knife tips chili flakes
  • 4 tbsp oil
  • 150ml chicken broth
  • 20g of fresh ginger
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
  • salt

1 Puree half of the shrimp in the food processor until they are fine. Chop the remaining shrimp roughly. Rub the ginger, finely chop one of the spring onions and add it. Mix everything and season the shrimp hack with salt and chilli flakes. Lightly moisten your hands with water and form about 12 shrimp dumplings.

2 Roast the sesame in a nonstick coated pan until golden brown. Then heat some oil in the pan and fry the dumplings in it for about 10 minutes. Add two spring twigs with the peas, sesame oil and teriyaki sauce to the broth. Cook the pasta according to the instructions in plenty of salted water.

3 Drain the cooked pasta and mix with the sauce. Add the shrimp balls to the noodles and plucked coriander leaves. Finally sprinkle the sesame on the dish. Good Appetite!

By the way: Teriyaki noodles with shrimp balls can be prepared just as well with other Asian and even Italian pasta. The fluffy shrimp balls also taste solo as a cold or warm finger food or as an insert for Asian soups.
