The Austrian classic is easy and fast. Here, the Blitzkaiserschmarrn is cleverly combined with cranberries.
Preparation time:20 minutes
Ingredients (for 2 persons):
- 1/4 packet of baking powder
- 1/2 packet of bourbon vanilla sugar
- 25g butter
- 100ml of milk
- 2 eggs
- 100g of flour
- powdered sugar
- 40g dried cranberries
1 Whisk the two eggs with the milk, 1 tablespoon of oil, vanilla sugar, cranberries and a pinch of salt. Mix flour and baking powder, stir in with a hand mixer.$config[ads_text] not found
2 Heat 1.5 tablespoons of oil and 10 grams of butter in a large pan over medium heat, add the dough and let stand for 5 minutes.
3 Divide the dough with two spatulas, rip into bite-sized pieces and fry for a few minutes until the pudding is golden brown. Add 15 g of butter, sprinkle with icing sugar and roast again for 2 to 3 minutes.
4 Serve with cranberry jam and sprinkle with more powdered sugar, as to taste.
