  • 100 g of salt
  • 200 g onions
  • 1 piece fresh horseradish
  • 3 stalks tarragon
  • 3 bay leaves
  • 2 tablespoons of mustard seeds
  • 1 tbsp peppercorns
  • 200 ml of vinegar
  • 150 g of sugar
  • 1 packet of Einmachhilfe

Rinse the cucumber thoroughly and brush with a vegetable brush, then cut off the ends of the cucumbers. Dissolve the salt in 1.5 liters of cold water, pour over the cucumbers and cover and leave to cool for a few days. Now prepare 8-10 glasses with screw cap by rinsing them thoroughly with hot water until they are clean.

Now they are salted cucumbers taken from the broth and rinsed well. Chop the onion, dice the horseradish and layer the tarragon, cucumbers, bay leaves, mustard and peppercorns in the jars. Now a liter of water is boiled with the vinegar and the sugar.
