After a sumptuous barbecue, full of meat, vegetables, salads and bread, there is usually no room left for a creamy dessert. Then stay with the dessert at the barbeque motto and serve grilled banana. Tastes delicious, goes fast and is still healthy.
Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 4 bananas
- 4 tablespoons honey
- optional: chocolate sprinkles or cream
- Place the bananas unpeeled on a grill over medium to low heat. The fruits must be cooked for about ten minutes from all sides. They often have to be turned over so as not to burn. The bananas are ready when the skin is charred black.
- Place a banana on a plate and cut it lengthwise. Now the bananas can be filled with either a tablespoon of honey or some chocolate crumbles or cream if needed.
Our tip: drizzled with agave syrup instead of honey, this delicious barbecue dessert is even vegan!
