The designer with the Hollywood gene
"I'm doing real fashion for real women and I think it's wonderful to introduce my love for luxury, luxury fabrics and special details to a large audience, " says Brian Rennie, looking forward to his new role at the international mail order company. The fashion designer began his career in 1986 at ESCADA, where he made a name for himself as a "designer with the Hollywood gene".
From his 20-year career with the German luxury label, the native of Schotte was a chief designer and design director for a total of twelve years. Among other things, he developed the couture collection and established the successful second-line ESCADA Sport. He then joined the Swedish premium brand GANT and MJM International before moving to BASLER Fashion in 2011 as Creative Director and Managing Director Design. At the traditional Goldbach company he shaped the further development of the premium brand into an internationally successful fashion label, whose designs have since found a permanent home on Red Carpets and Fashion Weeks. In 2014, the 52-year-old started his own label with his own label "Brian Rennie Couture".
