Nuts have long had the reputation of miserable calorie bombs. But mistaken: Nuts are healthy for the heart and circulation and, thanks to their satiating effect, keep them slim in small quantities. Walnuts provide the body with unsaturated fatty acids that are important for the brain and contain an ideal amount of vitamins. 250 g of fresh bean kernels
300 g of cleaned green beans
150 g black tomatoes (new variety, alternatively cherry tomatoes)
2 stalks of savory, parsley and mint
50 g walnut kernels
2 peeled garlic cloves
3 tablespoons of red wine vinegar
4-6 tablespoons of walnut oil

Boil 1 kernel for 25-30 minutes in strong salted water. Drain, drain. Wash green beans, clean. Leave as desired or cut into short pieces. Boil in strongly salted water for about 15 minutes, drain, drain. Put both types of beans in a bowl.
Cut out 2 stalks of tomatoes, dice tomatoes. Give to the beans. Remove 3 leaves of herbs, mash with walnuts and garlic in the mrs. Stir with vinegar and oil, season with salt and pepper. Mix walnut pesto with beans and tomatoes. Let it rest for at least 15 minutes. Taste again.

TIP: Even wax beans fit well. Alternatively, the salad can be flavored with ground cloves, coriander or sweet mustard.
