Baked apple with white chocolate sauce - Silent Cooking with Patrick Müller (with recipe) (May 2019).
Just the thing after a winter walk.
INGREDIENTS (for 10 servings):
10 small apples
100 g chopped almonds
6 tbsp sugar
100 g of dried cranberries
75 g of liquid honey
150 g white chocolate
1 l of milk
Mark of 1 vanilla pod
1 Preheat oven to 200 degrees (hot air: 180 degrees). Wash apples. Cut off the lid. Hollow out apples (eg with an apple cutter). Roast almonds in a pan. Add sugar, caramelise. Spread on baking paper and allow to cool.
Finely chop 2 almond caramel. Fill the apples with caramel, cranberries and 1 teaspoon honey each. Bake apples in the oven for about 20 minutes. 3 Melt the chocolate in a water bath. Bring the milk to a boil and add to the chocolate with the vanilla pulp, stir vigorously. Serve apples with the hot sauce on plates.
PREPARATION TIME: approx. 30 min.
PRO PORTION: approx. 360 kcal, 7 g protein, 14 g fat, 50 g carbohydrates
TIP: Take as long as possible apples (eg Boskop), which taste best baked. Leave hard fruits in the oven for about 10 minutes longer.
