Ingredients for 32 pieces

For the dough:

  • 250 g Sanella
  • 250 g of sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 250 g flour
  • 1 packet of baking soda
  • 300 ml of red wine
  • 1 bag of mulled wine spice
  • 150 g of raspberry chocolate

  • 80 g chopped almonds
  • 2 tbsp chocolate


  1. Stir Sanella, sugar, vanilla sugar with the whisk of the hand mixer until the sugar has dissolved. Add the eggs one at a time and stir until creamy. Flour and baking powder are mixed, sieved to the Sanella egg mixture and stir.
  2. Heat the red wine with spice. Measure out 1/8 l (125 ml) and stir with the chocolate under the dough.
  3. Lay out the baking sheet with baking paper, then spread the dough on it. Bake in preheated oven at 175 ° C (circulating air: 150 ° C) for 25-30 minutes.
  4. Mix the remaining mulled wine and powdered sugar, spread on the cold cake. Roast almonds, sprinkle with chocolate over the cake. Enjoy the yeast cake with nut filling still warm or cooled.
