The shortbread biscuits are not only popular at the festival.
INGREDIENTS (for about 45 pieces):
For the dough:
300 g of flour
200 g soft butter
2 tsp instant espresso powder
1 pinch of salt
2 tablespoons cream
150 g of sugar
1 packet of bourbon vanilla sugar
For the filling:
125 g soft butter
100 g of powdered sugar
5 tables Baileys
1-2 teaspoons instant espresso powder
150 g whole milk couverture
1 Preheat oven to 200 degrees (hot air: 180 degrees). Knead flour, butter, espresso powder, salt, cream, sugar and vanilla sugar. Pour into a piping bag with a large star spout. On a baking sheet covered with baking paper "Paws" squirt. Bake on the middle rack for 8-10 minutes. Pull each from the plate, let cool.
Beat butter and powdered sugar until creamy. Stir in Baileys and espresso powder. Brush half of the paws with it. Rest on it. Melt couverture. Immerse filled paws with one side, drain. Get feasted.
